Sareng Impex Limited is an export and import company based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We receive enquiries from buyers interested in vegetables, fruit, fish, food products and other suitable Bangladeshi goods. In this policy, “we”, “our” and “us” mean Sareng Impex Limited.

Information we receive

Information you choose to send

When you email, call or message us, we may receive your name, company, email address, telephone number, country, product requirements, quantity, packing and destination details, and the content of your correspondence. If an enquiry progresses to an order, we may receive additional business and shipping information needed to prepare quotations, invoices, contracts and shipment documents.

Technical information

Our hosting and website systems may process information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, referring page, date and time, and security or error logs. This supports delivery, maintenance and protection of the website. We do not ask visitors to provide payment-card details through this website.

How we use information

• Respond to enquiries and assess product availability and export feasibility.
• Prepare quotations and, where agreed, manage commercial, inspection, documentation, freight and shipment coordination.
• Maintain business records and meet applicable legal, tax, customs and regulatory obligations.
• Operate, troubleshoot and protect the website and our communications.

We use information for these business purposes, not to make an enquiry into a confirmed order without the commercial steps agreed between us and the buyer.

Who may receive information

We may share relevant order or enquiry details with service providers and counterparties needed to respond or carry out an agreed shipment—for example, hosting and email providers, suppliers, inspection or certification authorities, customs-related agents, freight forwarders and carriers. We share only information relevant to their role. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or a competent authority.

Because buyers, suppliers and shipment partners may be in different countries, business information may be processed outside Bangladesh. The destination and recipients depend on the particular enquiry or order. We do not sell enquiry information as a customer list.

Cookies, links and embedded content

WordPress, our hosting services and connected website tools may use cookies or similar technologies for core operation, security and logged-in administration. Available cookies can change when website tools are updated. Your browser settings can be used to inspect or restrict cookies, although some website functions may then work differently.

Our pages include embedded Google Maps and YouTube videos. The videos currently use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain, youtube-nocookie.com; that setting does not mean the video provider receives no information. Loading or playing embedded content can allow Google or YouTube to receive technical information and use their own technologies under their policies. We also link to services such as WhatsApp; opening those links takes you to the third party’s service.

How long we keep information and how we protect it

We keep enquiry and transaction information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage an order, resolve issues and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. The period varies with the nature of the information and the transaction. You may ask us about a specific record using the contact details below.

We use appropriate administrative and technical measures to protect information under our control, and limit access to people who need it for the stated purposes. No website, email or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive personal or payment-card information in an initial enquiry.

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask for deletion where applicable. You may also object to or ask us to limit certain uses of your information, subject to applicable law and any records we must retain. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request so that information is not disclosed to the wrong person.
