A vegetable exporter in Bangladesh shaped by a simple question.
Could Bangladesh’s fresh produce, fish and food products reach overseas buyers with the planning and reliability they deserve? That question, first asked while working abroad, became the starting point for Sareng Impex Limited.

From a hospitality job in Cyprus to a sourcing idea in Bangladesh.
Managing Director Md Mizanur Rahman spent almost five years working in Cyprus’s hotel industry. He saw how hotels depended on steady supplies of vegetables, fish and other food ingredients. He also thought about the Bangladeshi produce that could be lost each year without a path to the right buyers.
After returning home, he joined an export and import company. Working in the sector gave him a practical view of how products, buyer requirements, documents and shipments must come together. With that experience, he decided to build a business of his own.
Sareng Impex Limited was established in Dhaka in 2016 to connect international buyers with products sourced in Bangladesh and to coordinate the work between an initial enquiry and a prepared shipment.
“A product can travel further when the people, preparation and paperwork behind it are dependable.”
What we work toward.
Our mission, vision and goals grow from the original idea: make it easier for buyers to understand what Bangladesh can supply and how an export order can be responsibly coordinated.
Connect Bangladesh’s products with real buyer needs.
We aim to source products to the buyer’s stated requirements and coordinate the applicable preparation, inspection, documentation and freight steps for an agreed order.
Be a trusted long-term export partner.
We want international buyers to see Sareng Impex as a clear, dependable point of contact for Bangladeshi produce, fish, food products and selected local goods.
Grow through better coordination and repeat trade.
Our goals are to deepen product knowledge, strengthen sourcing and shipment coordination, communicate limitations early and build lasting buyer relationships.
Different paths brought the founders together.
The company story is made of individual decisions: seeing an opportunity, building practical knowledge and choosing to work together. Directors’ photographs can be added when ready.
Md Mizanur Rahman
His story began with a question formed while working in Cyprus’s hotel industry: could Bangladeshi vegetables, fish and food products be delivered to overseas buyers? After returning to Bangladesh, he gained export-import experience before establishing Sareng Impex Limited in 2016. He leads the company’s work to connect buyer requirements with local sourcing and shipment coordination.
Md Fayjul Morsalin
With a background in marketing, Md Fayjul Morsalin was interested in building a business that could turn Bangladesh’s resources into international trade opportunities. He believed collaboration mattered and looked for a partner with practical export experience. That search brought him to Mizanur Rahman, and the two began building Sareng Impex together.
Abdullah Al Baki
Abdullah Al Baki is a Director of Sareng Impex Limited and part of the team guiding the company’s future. His personal background and specific responsibilities can be added here when the company is ready to share them.

A sourcing and export coordination partner.
Today, Sareng Impex works with international buyers seeking fresh vegetables and fruits, fresh and frozen fish, meat, food and supermarket products, footwear, local hardware and other suitable Bangladeshi goods.
We learn the buyer’s specification, quantity, packing and destination first. We then assess availability and requirements, source the product, arrange applicable inspection and certification with the responsible authority, and coordinate documentation and air or sea freight for the agreed shipment.
Maldives: mixed food, fish, produce and selected general goods
Japan: frozen fish, vegetables, fruits, ghee, mustard oil and dry food items
Bahrain & Greece: fresh vegetables and fruits
Principles we bring to every buyer relationship.
Grounded in registrations and the applicable authority process.
Sareng Impex has a Trade License, Export Registration Certificate (ERC), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and Business Identification Number (BIN). The company works with relevant trade associations and coordinates product-specific authority requirements as applicable.
FIQC is an inspection and quality-control office, not a membership association. For fish products, it issues the Salubrity Certificate where applicable after inspection requirements are met.
